Hello everyone. This week Lianyue and I begin to work on coding. I created a series of codes to solve certain equations such as areas and volumes. I taught Lianyue the basics of coding with MATLAB. I was very surprised because Lianyue is very good at coding. She grasped the MATLAB commands really quick. I can tell that she can be a programmer. In the upcoming weeks we will be working on more complicated codes as we bridge in our project.
Hello everyone. This week me and Lianyue were scheduled to begin coding. However, the computer lab that has MATLAB was not available because there was a class going on. We had to find an alternative time to work on coding. This upcoming Saturday we will be coding a series of codes to learn to use MATLAB. We are very excited to code MATLAB scripts.
Hello everyone. This week I have been working on finishing a set of MATLAB exercises that I will use to show Lianyue how to code in MATLAB. Although they are basic, they will help her understand the basics of coding. I'm also finishing a set of exercises to show her some advanced techniques in math that will help with our project.

Math Project Progress

Hello everyone. This week I have been working on creating a set of MATLAB exercises. The purpose of these exercises is to be able to help Lianyue learn coding in MATLAB. I have been creating some fundamental exercises to teach her the basics of coding. After I show her the basics, then I will progressively teach her more complex functions in MATLAB. The other thing that I have been working on is to, also, come up with some math lessons to teach her about the mathematical concepts that our project involves. The lessons I am working on for her, I think will help her out a lot in our project, but also in her upcoming classes.
